	Paul Hogan was the very first Australian person I've ever seen. Foreign (non-French and non-Asian) movies were a rarity back in the 'good' old Soviet Union, so all of my friends got excited when we found out that Crocodile Dundee showed up in a local movie theatre. I was about eight when I went to see it with my best friend. I never knew that men like Dundee still existed apart from being fictional characters in adventure books... Anyway, it was nice to find out that Australia produced an updated version of Paul Hogan - Simon Baker AKA "The Mentalist".

The blue-eyed Australian beauty Nicole Kidman has a look alike, who also happens to be an Australian actress, but has hazel eyes. I noticed their resemblance when I saw Abbie Cornish in "Elizabeth: The Golden Age".

	Australian actress Toni Collette ("Little Miss Sunshine", "In Her Shoes") looks like a twin of the British actress Sally Hawkins ("The Painted Veil", "Vera Drake").

**Scarlett Johansson (left) and Naomi Watts (right)**
From certain angles Naomi Watts ("Eastern Promises", "The Painted Veil") resembles Scarlett Johansson ("The Other Boleyn Girl", "Girl with a Pearl Earring").

**Marton Csokas (left) and Russell Crowe (right)**
	The ruggedly handsome Australian actor Russell Crowe looks like Marton Csokas, who used to appear in "Xena: Warrior Princess" as Xena's lover, Borias.

**Dan Futterman (left) and Hugh Jackman (right)**
Hugh Jackman, who played my favorite X-Men character Wolverine reminds me of Dan Futterman, who appeared in one of my favorite movies - "The Birdcage".

**Eric Bana (left) and Steven Strait (right)**
	Eric Bana, an Australian actor who brilliantly portrayed a Mossad operative in Steven Spielberg's "Munich" resembles Steven Strait ("10,000 BC"). Since I first noticed Bana in "Black Hawk Down" I've been paying special attention to Bana's career, since he also looks a lot like my father.

The star of "Juno" Ellen Page resembles Australian actress Rose Byrne ("28 Weeks Later", "Marie Antoinette").

Rose Byrne also looks like Shannon Marie Woodward, who plays Di Di Malloy on "The Riches".

**Mel Gibson (left) and Colin Ferguson (right)**
	Mel Gibson, a controversial Academy Award-winning Australian actor and film director bears resemblance to Eureka's Colin Ferguson.

**Peta Wilson (left) and Amy Smart (right)**
Amy Smart ("Crank", "Rat Race") is an adorable blond actress who is constantly being typecast as an adorable blonde. I think one of these days Ms. Smart should be given a part where she gets to shoot people. If Peta Wilson, who looks like a carbon copy of Smart could play and be believable as an assassin in "La Femme Nikita" - Smart can definitely pull it off.

	David Wenham, an actor who portrayed Faramir in "Lord of the Rings" reminds me of Paul Soter from "Super Troopers".

Australian actress Miranda Otto, who played Eowyn, my favorite character in "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" looks like Emily Mortimer ("Chaos Theory").
